Today, flowers bloom in place of agriculture. The grounds' centerpiece is a rock garden illuminated by locally made glass lamps. Complimentary amenities include wireless Internet access and breakfasts served in the dining room, where the house specialty is eggs Benedict.
Guestrooms. The bed and breakfast features five guestrooms. One guestroom has a private bathroom, while shared bathrooms are available for the other rooms. In room amenities include cable TV, DVD players, and complimentary wireless Internet access. Guestrooms are individually decorated.
Expert Tip. The dining room contains George Nakashima's signature table, a hand selected slab of highly polished walnut wood with free flowing edges. Its design and construction melds Japanese and Shaker woodworking techniques. A master at his craft, Nakashima was a dominant figure in mid century modern design.
